About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide financial and investment planning advice to deliver comprehensive banking solutions in the best interest of customers.
- Determine client needs and provide solutions through the sale of managed products, including mutual funds, ETFs, insurance, and retirement savings plans.
- Implement business development strategies to acquire new business through outbound calling, seminars, and branch employee referrals.
- Identify opportunities during customer conversations to generate referrals for personal and commercial banking, lending, and investment products.
- Collaborate with lead relationship managers to implement relationship management plans and enhance the client experience.
- Support sales and performance targets for new asset sales, joint appointments, and fee-based sales.
- Ensure strict adherence to risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant financial experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- FINRA Series 6, 63 & 65 Licenses OR FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses.
- Valid Life and Health Insurance Producer’s License.
- Completion of LTC Continuing Education Requirements.
- In-depth experience with managed products and providing fee-based advice.
- Strong understanding of deposit, loan (including mortgage), and banking products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
