About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary client contact to uncover financial needs and provide holistic banking and investment solutions
- Drive new client acquisition and grow assets under management (AUM) through deposits and investments
- Take a consultative approach to relationship building, providing guidance on annuities, mutual funds, 529s, and life insurance
- Collaborate with Financial Advisors to address complex client financial needs
- Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies to achieve performance targets
- Build strategic relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs), such as law and accounting firms, to generate referrals
- Mentor and coach branch personnel to enhance their knowledge of the mass affluent client segment
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory policies, risk management frameworks, and ethical standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services
- Possession of SIE Exam, Series 6, 63, 65, and state Life and Health insurance licenses (or ability to obtain them within 120 days)
- Proven knowledge of banking products, pricing strategies, and profitability management
- In-depth understanding of brokerage and insurance products
- Strong understanding of deposit, loan, and banking practices, including credit risk policies
- Proficiency in financial needs discovery and product solution design
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study
- Possession of Series 7, 66, or 65 licenses
- Advanced experience in client portfolio management and prospecting
