Responsibilities

• Load flatbed trailers with various types of steel commodities within FMCSA regulations
• Inspect and pre-trip trailers to ensure mechanical and electrical readiness
• Drive empty and loaded trailers on customer property under direction
• Manually guide forklift operators to place product on trailers
• Apply proper tiedown methods for steel commodities
• Verify load counts and material descriptions against load sheets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Report damaged or inoperable equipment immediately

Requirements

• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to occasionally lift 50-100lbs (such as tarps)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
