Prefab Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe operations throughout the prefab facility as the highest priority
• Plan, schedule, and control manpower, materials, tools, and production flow to maximize efficiency
• Oversee daily prefab production scheduling and coordinate priorities based on project demands
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and standardized work methods
• Recruit, train, and manage prefab personnel while developing cross-training programs
• Control prefab material inventory and set stocking levels to reduce waste
• Establish quality control checkpoints to ensure assemblies meet code and project specifications
• Oversee preventative maintenance for all prefab equipment and facility organization
• Develop scalable systems and evaluate automation opportunities to support company growth

Requirements

• Experience in production management or prefab operations
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to manage manpower, inventory, and production schedules
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with project management and field leadership
• Experience in quality control and process improvement
