About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive integrated master schedules for hyperscale data center projects from pre-construction through construction hand-off.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and trade partners to validate sequencing and ensure schedule feasibility.
- Create and update multiple schedules for various potential scopes of work prior to lease signing.
- Conduct detailed schedule analysis to identify risks, delays, and opportunities for optimization or acceleration.
- Implement recovery strategies and mitigation plans to maintain project milestones and contractual obligations.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and present updates, forecasts, and critical path analyses to stakeholders.
- Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project health and forecasting accuracy.
- Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the master project schedule.
- Support project controls including progress measurement, earned value analysis, and delay impact assessments.
- Assist with the transition from Microsoft Project to Primavera P6 EPPM scheduling tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of preconstruction and construction sequencing, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and Critical Path Method (CPM).
- Direct experience with data center construction or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-tech environments with aggressive timelines.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools for dashboard creation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, AACE PSP, or PMI-SP.
