Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope
• Perform quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff and prepare estimates in Sage Estimating
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bid summaries, and proposal documentation
• Maintain organized estimate files and cost databases
• Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Identify discrepancies in project documents and assist in resolving scope questions
• Support contract negotiations and change order pricing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience in commercial construction estimating preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, and BuildingConnected
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
