About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs based on technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision parts
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measurement tools
- Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, tools used, and inspection results
- Adhere to all safety standards and practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision machining environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and CAD/CAM software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in operating various CNC machinery, including mills and lathes
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with quality control processes and ISO standards is a plus
