Pre-Treatment Plant Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily facility inspections and address any identified deficiencies
• Track incoming and outgoing waste shipments
• Treat wastewater using oil/water separation, chemical precipitation, and carbon absorption
• De-water and stabilize solid and sludge waste
• Monitor tank capacities to optimize plant function and capacity
• Safely operate vacuum trucks, skid loaders, pumps, and roll-off trucks
• Maintain clean and organized work areas through regular housekeeping
• Adhere to all safety, security, and compliance requirements, including the proper use of safety equipment

Requirements

• Ability to lift, climb, and bend
• Ability to stand for long periods throughout the day
• Willingness to work in varied weather conditions (hot, cold, and wet)
• Willingness to work around strong odors and smells

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial wastewater pre-treatment
• Experience in facility maintenance
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid loaders or forklifts
