Pre-Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to guide prospects through technical discovery and product demonstrations
• Deliver tailored product demos to finance decision-makers like CFOs and Controllers
• Map and document customer workflows across Accounts Receivable and ERP systems
• Scope and define customer solutions, including custom workflows and integrations
• Translate solution designs into high-quality Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Partner with Product and Implementation teams to ensure smooth post-sale transitions
• Lead proof-of-concept or pilot engagements to validate product value
• Train the sales team on ERP-related product features and value messaging

Requirements

• 3+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or ERP Consultant role
• Deep knowledge of midmarket ERP systems, ideally NetSuite
• Background in finance or accounting (CPA, CMA, or accounting degree preferred)
• Experience in B2B SaaS, preferably fintech or payments
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical finance audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on AI knowledge and automation experience
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, Rillet, or Campfire
• Experience with API integrations or platform-based sales
• Strong storytelling and persuasion skills
