Pre-Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and specifications to estimate costs, resources, and timelines
• Develop accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, and equipment
• Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and tenders for control system automation projects and maintenance contracts
• Collaborate with service delivery teams to understand project scope, technical requirements, and potential risks
• Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, pricing, and technologies
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project outcomes
• Continuously improve estimation processes and methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control, Automation, or related field)
• 1-3 years of experience in control system automation proposals estimation or a related field
• Strong knowledge of control system automation technologies such as PLC, DCS, and SCADA
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools including Excel and MS Project
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, or ABB
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations
• Certification in proposal estimation or a related field
