Pre Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and trust
• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns
• Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and propose tailored solutions
• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations that align with client needs
• Work with sales and technical teams to design and articulate IT solutions
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including network configurations and drawings
• Coordinate and oversee client projects to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence
• Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling additional services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in client management within the IT services industry (MSP preferred)
• Strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, Cisco technologies, and cloud services
• Experience in pre-sales engineering and designing IT solutions
• Residency within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area is required
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
