About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support new program pre-production and launches by diagnosing electrical issues and driving solutions.
  • Lead end-of-line (EOL) troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as V-Spy.
  • Document failures and track containment actions using plant systems like MERS, PRTS/JIRA, and SPPS.
  • Analyze and correlate results across EOL test systems to improve electrical performance.
  • Partner with Launch Managers and repair teams to communicate electrical quality and top concerns.
  • Support production assembly plants during launch events, requiring up to 25% travel.
  • Support GAIC second shift UAW Lab Check on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience with automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, or EOL testing.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical faults using diagnostic tools (e.g., V-Spy/DPS).
  • Experience supporting program management activities, readiness reviews, or cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to root cause complex issues.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing plant environment.
  • Exposure to DVT, AVT, EOL test systems, or electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience supporting UAW-represented environments or plant repair teams.
  • Working knowledge of GMS and support of BIQ4 deliverables.
