About the role
Responsibilities
- Daily interaction with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person
- Order medical records and communicate with clients and providers during treatment
- Obtain documents necessary to support injury and liability positions
- Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances
- Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers
- Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney direction
- Maintain organized case files and present case synopses to attorneys
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, Pre-Litigation Paralegal, or Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Typing speed of at least 35 wpm
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage workloads in a fast-paced environment
