Pre-Flight Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed preflight checks by validating content, imagery, and design components
• Check file size specifications across imagery and design templates
• Verify color modes (CMYK, spot colors), resolution, bleeds, trim, and safety margins
• Assess project setup for composition
• Communicate file issues and required corrections clearly with internal teams
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
• Document project status within the job tracking system
• Attend cross-functional team meetings to discuss project readiness

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in prepress or print production
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
