Responsibilities
- Assist with breakout sessions, lab work, and student evaluation
- Advise students and provide tutoring outside of class time
- Deliver occasional guest lectures
- Organize field trips and guest speaker visits
- Manage logistics including attendance and student conduct monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor's or graduate-level degree in a related field, or current enrollment in a pertinent undergraduate or graduate program at Columbia University/Barnard College
- Strong subject matter content knowledge
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching assistant or tutoring experience
