Pre-Age Assembler

Responsibilities

• Perform general assembly tasks including un-racking, bagging, cryovac, and palletizing cheese products
• Manually remove cheese wheels (up to 26 lbs) from racks and place them on production tables
• Monitor the cryovac machine and ensure bagged cheese is laid flat over heat seal bars
• Stack sealed cheese wheels into totes on pallets according to specific product templates
• Wash racks and slats and clean/sanitize production equipment to maintain hygiene standards
• Verify accuracy of pallet, box, tag, barcode, and tally sheet information
• Rotate through various positions on the production line throughout the shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and handle 26 lb items multiple times per minute
• Physical stamina for continuous walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling
• Ability to work in a cool environment (less than 60 degrees F)
