Pre-Age Assembler

Responsibilities

• Manually remove cheese wheels from racks and place them on conveyor belts
• Bag cheese wheels and monitor continuous movement through the production line
• Operate cryovac machines and ensure bags are laid flat over heat seal bars
• Stack sealed wheels into totes on pallets according to specific product templates
• Wash racks and sticks to ensure timely return to production
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and maintain housekeeping standards
• Verify accuracy of pallet, box, tag, barcode, and tally sheet information
• Handle rejected packages by returning them to the wet packing area for resealing

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and housekeeping standards
• Awareness of quality systems and regulatory compliance requirements
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Commitment to regular attendance
