Practicum & Internship Coordinator/School Psychology (Tenure- Track)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical placement component of the School Psychology programs
• Identify and form relationships with potential practicum and internship sites
• Manage the Site Affiliation Agreement process for the unit
• Review supervisor credentials, including degree and licensure requirements
• Create and disseminate supervisor training materials
• Maintain and distribute an updated list of available placement sites
• Assist students in obtaining practicum and internship placements
• Manage collection and storage of student liability insurance and required paperwork
• Communicate with site supervisors, students, and faculty regarding training progress
• Assist graduates with the licensure paperwork process

Requirements

• Doctoral degree with specialization in school psychology
• Active engagement in the profession of school psychology
• State or national school psychologist credentials
• Professional experience as a school psychologist or scholarly work related to the profession
