Practice Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care including assessment, treatment, planning, and care evaluation
• Establish priorities to organize daily activities and maintain efficient patient flow
• Triage patient phone calls following established guidelines to identify health concerns
• Administer prescribed medications and provide patient education based on identified needs
• Document health information, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Delegate patient care activities using the five rights of delegation
• Apply nursing process principles to make sound clinical judgments and decisions

Requirements

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing license
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED certification
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary staff and patients
