Practice Patient Care Coordinator Urology

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical and data management functions including patient registration and scheduling
• Coordinate referrals and manage phone communications for the Urology department
• Serve as the primary access point for patients and their families
• Ensure patients receive timely, efficient, and compassionate customer service
• Support medical office operations including electronic medical records and patient flow

Requirements

• High School degree or GED required
• Proven customer service experience
• Knowledge of medical office operations (scheduling, registration, billing, or authorizations)
• Ability to pass an annual registration competency exam

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Experience with electronic medical records and insurance payer guidelines
