About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop physician practice operations to ensure clinical efficiency, quality, and access.
- Coordinate administrative functions to maximize patient experience and ensure compliance with HR and regulatory policies.
- Oversee practice-wide operational and financial goals, including patient scheduling and supply management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement performance improvement initiatives using EMR dashboards.
- Manage front-end revenue cycle activities, including physician billing, copay collection, and charge monitoring.
- Lead and mentor staff through coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Article 28 standards, including participating in monthly tracer activities.
- Oversee the physical environment of clinical sites, interfacing with IT, facilities, and external vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
- Proficiency in project management, including executing technical and operational activities with cross-functional teams.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to extract, evaluate, and summarize complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) or similar software.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a physician practice.
- Experience in regulated healthcare settings with familiarity with Joint Commission requirements and standards.
