About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop physician practice operations to ensure clinical efficiency, quality, and access.
  • Coordinate administrative functions to maximize patient experience and ensure compliance with HR and regulatory policies.
  • Oversee practice-wide operational and financial goals, including patient scheduling and supply management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement performance improvement initiatives using EMR dashboards.
  • Manage front-end revenue cycle activities, including physician billing, copay collection, and charge monitoring.
  • Lead and mentor staff through coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Article 28 standards, including participating in monthly tracer activities.
  • Oversee the physical environment of clinical sites, interfacing with IT, facilities, and external vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
  • Proficiency in project management, including executing technical and operational activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to extract, evaluate, and summarize complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) or similar software.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within a physician practice.
  • Experience in regulated healthcare settings with familiarity with Joint Commission requirements and standards.
