Practice Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Practice Team business and marketing plans
• Conduct market research and competitive intelligence for practice teams
• Drive thought leadership initiatives including client alerts, webinars, and surveys
• Create high-quality marketing collateral such as fact sheets and brochures
• Manage Practice Team meeting cadences and agendas
• Liaise with Recruiting to track open requisitions and candidate follow-up
• Collaborate with IT and Knowledge Management to promote AI and new technology adoption
• Review Practice Team reports and present key insights to Chairs
• Identify practice-specific write-off trends and recommend solutions
• Manage onboarding processes for practice team attorneys

Requirements

• 5–10 years of progressive experience within a law firm environment
• Proven experience partnering with attorneys and firm leadership
• Background in practice group administration and law firm management
• Strong executive presence and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with Recruiting, IT, and Professional Development teams
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Strong project management skills
