Practice Manager, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee teams of technical consultants, associates, and product specialists to ensure successful implementation of the Charles River Investment Management Solution.
• Drive business growth by collaborating with sales leadership to position and sell services to new and existing customers.
• Achieve implementation services revenue goals, utilization targets, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Conduct regular project reviews to monitor implementation status, resolve issues, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Serve as a key liaison between Sales, R&D, and other internal departments to share expertise and resolve dependencies.
• Participate in the sales process by presenting implementation methodologies, responding to prospect inquiries, and preparing SOWs and realistic estimates.
• Hire, mentor, and train staff to ensure effective utilization and professional development.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience in financial services or technical implementation.
• Proven experience managing teams of 10+ consultants.
• Extensive experience implementing financial systems and delivering multi-tier financial applications.
• BA/MS degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of N-tier application architecture and SOAP/XML messaging software.
• Experience with Kafka and ETL tools such as Kettle or Talend.
• Deep understanding of the investment industry, including financial instruments and workflows.
• Experience building and maintaining senior-level client relationships.
