Practice Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight for multiple practice operations and sites
• Develop and implement strategic plans and organizational designs to maximize productivity
• Monitor financial viability, including staffing costs, revenue cycle benchmarks, and cash management
• Ensure compliance with all federal and local laws, regulatory agencies, and accrediting bodies
• Manage staffing strategies including recruitment, hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee information technology plans involving EHR, practice management systems, and security
• Act as the primary spokesperson for the practice with external referral sources, government agencies, and vendors
• Evaluate patient flow patterns and report on patient satisfaction results and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business administration (or equivalent experience)
• 6-8 years of related experience in healthcare operations
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office Applications
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management systems
• Knowledge of medical billing and coding processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) designation
• Specialized experience in physician practice management
