About the role
Responsibilities
- Create and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and visual aids
- Support time studies and line balancing within manufacturing processes
- Assist in the collection of manufacturing documentation for transfer projects
- Support the introduction and validation of new equipment
- Assist in the validation process for new or improved processes (IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Help develop ergonomic and efficient workstations for various manufacturing processes
- Adhere to weekly project activity plans
Requirements
- Currently enrolled student in Industrial, Biomedical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering program
- Intermediate English proficiency (reading and conversational)
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, line balancing, and statistics
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Organized, proactive, with a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks
- Basic knowledge of Minitab
