Practical Nurse Program Director

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom learning activities and deliver instruction
• Monitor and evaluate faculty effectiveness through classroom observation and performance reviews
• Oversee daily operations of the practical nursing unit
• Address and resolve concerns from faculty and students
• Track and review student progress with faculty and success coaches
• Provide guidance and coaching for NCLEX exam preparation
• Conduct faculty orientation and performance follow-ups
• Provide student advisement for academic, attendance, and behavioral issues
• Ensure all clinical records and assignments are completed and maintained

Requirements

• Active and encumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida
• BSN required; Master's degree in nursing preferred
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• 3+ years of teaching experience
• 3+ years of clinical experience
• Experience in nursing education administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
