PR Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with government entities at all levels in China
• Monitor policy and regulatory developments to provide risk analysis and alerts to senior management
• Support functional departments with the preparation, submission, and follow-up of government project applications and subsidy programs
• Maintain active relationships with major chambers of commerce and coordinate liaison with foreign embassies and consulates
• Conduct research and feasibility studies for potential investment projects in China, including policy and market assessments
• Manage relationships with key industry associations and design institutes to strengthen industry presence
• Support marketing communication activities, including product launches and brand campaigns across Greater China

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PR, government affairs, or corporate communications
• Proven experience in government relations within China
• Hands-on experience with government project applications, subsidies, and compliance reporting
• Familiarity with chambers of commerce (e.g., Swedish Chamber, EU Chamber) and diplomatic missions
• Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Political Science, Business, or a related field
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Background in mining, construction machinery, or industrial sectors is a strong plus
