PR Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage media relations by monitoring the press inbox and building relationships with journalists, photographers, and influencers
• Draft and distribute written materials including press releases, media alerts, festival recaps, and official executive quotes
• Create Electronic Press Kits (EPKs), one-sheets, and social media content to support event brands
• Coordinate media credentials and logistics for press attending concerts, festivals, and club shows
• Monitor media coverage, compile daily press clips, and provide weekly reports on editorial sentiment and reach
• Support philanthropy initiatives by coordinating charity auctions and community engagement campaigns
• Provide onsite event support, including managing media check-ins and staffing press lounges
• Maintain organized digital asset folders and media databases

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in music public relations or relevant internships, preferably in dance music or live events
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches and press materials
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
• Strong knowledge of electronic music culture and the current media landscape
• Ability to work onsite in the Calabasas, CA office five days per week
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments, including evenings and weekends when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing relationships with key media contacts across dance music outlets and industry trades
• Background in journalism
