PR Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ongoing PR initiatives for assigned accounts
• Act as primary contact for multiple agency clients
• Research and maintain media lists
• Manage social media efforts and client website updates
• Conduct competitive research and develop client PR initiatives
• Plan, write, and edit news releases, fact sheets, blogs, and speeches
• Pitch and place local and national news stories
• Track client news coverage and prepare monthly reports
• Assist in new business efforts and strategic planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field
• At least two years of professional public relations experience
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and computer literacy
• Valid Nevada driver's license
