Powertrain Simulation Engineer - Model Based Calibration

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement model-based calibration methodologies and parameter identification tools
• Develop and maintain powertrain system-level and vehicle-level 1D/0D models
• Integrate powertrain software control functions and logic into simulation environments
• Conduct virtual-level validation of control strategies and support SW validation processes
• Plan, organize, and coordinate test campaigns for model and process validation
• Perform data analysis and prepare technical reports to update project progress
• Collaborate with evaluation, design, and simulation teams to support problem solving

Requirements

• Experience with 1D/0D powertrain modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink, Simcenter Amesim, GT-SUITE)
• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB
• Experience with vehicle software control function development and integration
• Knowledge of model-based calibration and virtual validation environments (MiL, SiL, HiL)
• Familiarity with test bench operations and data acquisition systems
• Deep understanding of powertrain systems for conventional and electrified vehicles
• Master of Science in Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Control Systems Engineering
• Fluency in English
