Powertrain Manufacturing Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing manufacturing standards, processes, equipment, and tooling for the Powertrain system including Rotor, Stator, and Electric Drive Unit
• Support creation of work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues
• Assist in designing, testing, and validating new tools and equipment
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or greater in a related field
• Work authorized in the United States or ability to obtain a J-1/F-1 visa
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
