About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support and guide the team by assisting with onboarding and training junior members
  • Partner with engineering teams to support equipment bring-up and process validation
  • Execute complex assemblies of electric engines, including inverters, stators, gearboxes, and motors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding electric engines and equipment disruptions
  • Assemble basic lab fixtures and assembly tools to support build flows
  • Perform detailed inspections and product measurements using metrology tools
  • Maintain line health through routine equipment maintenance and workspace calibration

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years specifically focused on electric engine assembly
  • Experience in R&D, NPI, or early-stage production environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with complex mechanical and electronic assemblies
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints
  • Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM
  • Familiarity with 5S organization and safety protocols like LOTO and Arc Flash

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active IPC Certifications or strong knowledge of IPC standards
  • Direct experience with stator windings
  • Experience utilizing SAP or similar enterprise ERP systems
