Fluidstack is singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them to build civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and securing of powered land for the US data center portfolio
• Source and assess sites (100+ acres) near fiber and high-voltage transmission
• Coordinate with utilities to secure substation capacity, transmission access, and power agreements
• Lead entitlements due diligence across zoning, rezoning, land-use permitting, and environmental reviews
• Lead commercial negotiations for purchase agreements, land options, and long-term leases
• Engage local, state, and municipal officials to secure development agreements and incentives

Requirements

• Experience acquiring commercial/industrial real estate or developing energy infrastructure
• Deep understanding of data center infrastructure, high-voltage power, and zoning
• Proven track record of closing complex, high-stakes land transactions
• Ability to manage relationships with brokers, landowners, utilities, and government officials
• Willingness to travel 20%+ as projects require

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with powered-land structures
• Substation and transmission procurement expertise
• Knowledge of economic incentives and development agreements
• Land banking strategy experience
