About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle Powerbuilder and SQL development for complex in-house applications
- Design, code, and test components following development standards and architecture guidelines
- Develop new features and system functionalities throughout the entire lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Troubleshoot defects and optimize system performance
- Work with complex SQL-based applications involving accounting, billing, and third-party integrations
Requirements
- 5+ years of Powerbuilder development experience
- 5+ years of SQL (T-SQL) development experience with SQL Server
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with BAs, Developers, QAs, and users
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS administration and Oracle Streams
- Experience with Oracle Virtual Private Database
- Proficiency with reporting tools such as Crystal, Argos, or MS reporting tools
- Experience with web application development (HTML, JavaScript, XML) or MS .NET
