About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute 2D, 3D, and simulation design for powertrain parts
- Ensure technical convergence and define assembly constraints
- Manage digital mock-ups and product documentation
- Validate design feasibility regarding geometry, process, and packaging
- Manage powertrain, chassis, forging, casting, and sheet metal component development
- Handle technical documentation such as APQP
Requirements
- BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
- 1-7 years of experience for Design roles or 3-5 years for Development roles
- Proficiency in CATIA, GD&T, and Tolerance stack up
- Experience with powertrain, chassis, forging, casting, or sheet metal parts
- Strong analytical, logical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Electric Vehicles and Power Electronics
- Background working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
