Power Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and support power systems including distribution, conditioning, and battery interfaces
• Perform power budgeting, load analysis, and efficiency trade studies across mission phases
• Collaborate in a multidiscipline environment to design and analyze systems
• Conduct circuit analysis, testing, and troubleshooting
• Write clear technical reports and documentation
• Provide power system expertise during system integration and performance testing

Requirements

• Proficiency in all engineering development phases (requirements, design, test, production)
• Experience using industry-specific tools for electronic system analysis and testing
• Experience with spacecraft or aerospace power systems and battery management systems (BMS)
• Familiarity with power integrity analysis, grounding strategies, and high-current PCB layout
• Master's in Electrical Engineering or Physics with 5+ years of experience, or Bachelor's with 10+ years
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected person

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with DoD or USG development and deployment programs
• Ability to hold and maintain a USG Security Clearance
