Power System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain facility electrical systems, including high/low voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, and generators
• Ensure compliance with Taiwan electrical regulations, SEMI standards, and safety codes
• Develop and interpret electrical drawings and single line diagrams using AutoCAD
• Lead preventive maintenance (PM) activities and troubleshoot power system issues
• Handle emergency response for power-related incidents and develop recovery plans
• Monitor system performance and capacity to ensure power reliability for critical manufacturing tools
• Coordinate power system upgrades, expansions, and new tool installations
• Analyze power consumption and drive energy-saving initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drawing development
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage power systems and protective relay operation
• Experience with single line diagram development and interpretation
• Familiarity with motor control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in industrial or semiconductor manufacturing facilities
• Relevant professional certifications, such as an Electrical Engineer license or HV certification
• Familiarity with PLC operation and basic control logic
• Experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS), ISO 50001, or HVAC systems
