Power Station Management Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering coordination for U.S. energy storage power station projects from development through construction readiness
• Ensure engineering deliverables align with project schedules, permitting requirements, and construction milestones
• Coordinate with local authorities, utilities, and consultants to support permitting and regulatory approvals
• Support grid interconnection applications and communications with utilities and ISO/RTO organizations
• Provide engineering oversight during construction phases and equipment installation
• Coordinate resolution of technical issues between EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal engineering teams
• Collaborate with development, project management, procurement, and technical teams to ensure integrated project execution
• Identify engineering risks that may impact project schedule, cost, or technical performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in engineering management, infrastructure projects, or energy-related industries
• Proven experience coordinating engineering deliverables across diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction engineering processes
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in utility-scale energy storage systems (BESS) or renewable energy projects
• Experience with U.S. interconnection processes (ISO/RTO or utility-level)
• Experience managing engineering teams or project engineers
• Familiarity with permitting processes for energy or large infrastructure projects
• Experience working in multinational or cross-cultural project environments
