Power Plant Shift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operation, control, and monitoring of power plant components
• Compliance with occupational health, safety, fire, and environmental protection
• Rapid evaluation of plant situations and reporting malfunctions
• Immediate execution of corrective fault rectification
• Working in a 5-group, 3-shift system
• Analysis and assessment of operational data
• Clarification of damage and malfunction causes and determination of preventive measures
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for operating and controlling generation plants
• Supervision and instruction of external companies
• Conducting plant inspections
• Commissioning and decommissioning of plants
• Participation in new construction projects and commissioning processes
• Implementation and supervision of lockouts and issuing work permits

Requirements

• Completed training in an electrical profession or as a power plant operator
• Professional and operational experience in power plant operations preferred
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Ideally knowledge of process control systems
• High level of teamwork, communication skills, and resilience
• Analytical and structured thinking skills
• Ability to work in shifts and perform occasional solo work
