Power Plant Operator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire switching process
• Perform switch-offs, monitor them, and issue work permits according to procedures
• Control work permit processes and provide feedback
• Complete work permit processes after consultation with plant managers
• Evaluate plant situations and report malfunctions
• Support the immediate elimination of malfunctions
• Analyze and assess operational data
• Assist in clarifying causes of damage and malfunctions and define preventive measures
• Support the creation and maintenance of documentation for operating and controlling generation plants
• Assist the shift during emergencies

Requirements

• Completed training in metal, mechanical engineering, or electrical professions, or training as a power plant operator
• Professional and operational experience in power plant operations is desirable
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Ideally knowledge of process control systems
• High level of teamwork, communication skills, and resilience
• Commitment, sense of responsibility, flexibility, and reliability
• Analytical and structured thinking skills
• Ability to work alone occasionally
• Fluent German (C1 level)
