Power Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and maintain electricity delivery schedules
• Monitor and validate operational and market data
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and analyses
• Track schedule execution and investigate discrepancies or deviations
• Support nomination, balancing, and settlement processes
• Coordinate with transmission system operators, power exchanges, and other market participants
• Maintain and update operational databases and systems
• Assist in process optimization and automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with market rules and internal procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in the energy sector, power trading, or energy operations
• Understanding of electricity markets, scheduling, balancing, and settlement processes
• Familiarity with energy trading and risk management (ETRM) systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational and communication skills
