Power Operations Expert

Responsibilities

• Support daily power operations activities across multiple European markets
• Execute and support spot market activities, including bidding support
• Coordinate with short-term traders and internal scheduling teams
• Support cross-border operational processes and market-related workflows
• Cooperate with finance, invoicing, legal, compliance, and back-office teams
• Support collateral management-related operational activities
• Assist with SLA tracking, reporting, and operational issue management
• Maintain operational documentation and support process standardization
• Support onboarding of new operational processes and markets
• Participate in testing and implementation of operational and IT-related changes
• Provide operational backup and support coverage

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in power operations, scheduling, or energy market roles
• Understanding of European power market processes
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant analytical field
• Advanced Excel skills
• Basic coding skills in VBA (SQL or Python is a plus)
• Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cross-border or multi-market experience
• Experience with ETRM platforms, especially Endur
• Proficiency in CEE languages
