Power Operations Expert

Responsibilities

• Support daily power operations activities across multiple European markets
• Execute and support spot market activities, including bidding support
• Coordinate with short-term traders and internal scheduling teams to ensure operational continuity
• Manage cross-border operational processes and market-related workflows
• Collaborate with finance, invoicing, legal, compliance, and back-office teams
• Support collateral management-related operational activities and follow-up processes
• Assist with SLA tracking, reporting, operational issue management, and process escalations
• Maintain operational documentation and support process standardization efforts
• Participate in the testing and implementation of operational and IT-related changes

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in power operations, scheduling, balancing, or trading support
• Strong understanding of European power market processes and operational environments
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant analytical field
• Advanced Excel skills and coding skills in VBA (SQL or Python is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English (knowledge of CEE languages is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETRM platforms, specifically Endur
• Experience in cross-border or multi-market operational environments
