Power Generation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of natural gas power generation facilities from design to operation
• Provide engineering recommendations and technical support for power generation and electrical design
• Assist with procurement, cost estimation, budgeting, and resource planning
• Perform power system modeling, analysis, and design
• Monitor construction progress, quality control, and commissioning activities
• Manage project documentation, permits, and reporting for stakeholders
• Resolve technical and logistical challenges to minimize delays and cost overruns
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field
• 8–10 years of project management experience in power generation
• Experience managing large-scale EPC projects valued at $50M+
• Strong knowledge of gas turbines (e.g., GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Bergen)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and power system modeling software
• Ability to travel to various locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering
• PMP certification
• Data Center industry experience
• Familiarity with FIDIC or NEC international contracting standards
