Power Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and uninterrupted operation of power, electrical, gas, and ventilation installations and networks.
• Organize and perform planned preventive maintenance, inspections, and testing of utility systems.
• Develop technical documentation, job descriptions, and operational instructions for maintenance personnel.
• Conduct safety training for employees working with electrical, gas, and ventilation equipment.
• Identify and eliminate structural or technical defects in power and gas equipment.
• Implement measures to prepare energy and gas systems for seasonal operational changes.
• Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and safe work practices.
• Prepare internal and external technical reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Higher technical education in Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in energy management, power engineering, or electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements regarding energy, occupational safety, and technical safety.
• Proven experience in the operation, maintenance, and modernization of power equipment.
• Electrical safety certification (Group V is highly desirable).
• Experience managing personnel and supervising external contractors.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with technical software is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to make critical technical decisions.
