Power Electronics Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the electronic design and validation of innovative electronic braking systems within an international team.
• Define and write electronic requirements and specifications in collaboration with mechanical, system, safety, and software teams.
• Analyze client and platform needs to derive electronic requirements while managing cost objectives.
• Oversee or execute the design of electronic components, including schematics, routing, and production readiness.
• Conduct technical studies using theoretical approaches, numerical simulations, and testing to optimize design quality and cost.
• Participate in design and test reviews and ensure products are tested according to defined requirements.
• Perform product testing and fine-tuning to ensure seamless integration with other system elements.
• Document technical evolutions and ensure compliance with internal development processes and HW ASPICE.

Requirements

• Engineer, Master, or PhD degree in Power Electronics.
• At least 5 years of experience in power electronics, including 2-3 completed projects as a designer.
• Proficiency with Altium for development.
• Proficiency in electronic simulation and schematic tools such as PSPICE, Simetrix, Matlab, or Zuken.
• Hands-on experience with inverters/converters for BLDC motors, DC motors, and valve control.
• Strong understanding of electronic test definition and validation.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Experience in the automotive sector is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HW ASPICE development processes.
• Ability to contribute to business development through patent ideas and benchmark analyses.
