About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a power electronics engineering team, overseeing resource allocation and workload management.
  • Implement standard processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure efficient project development.
  • Define, develop, and share reusable design patterns within the department.
  • Manage the full people management cycle, including training, skill development, and performance management.
  • Support project offers by providing accurate activity costing and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with sourcing teams to contribute to technical outsourcing strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments.
  • Partner with other sites to share best practices, workloads, and technological innovations.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or Master's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical, or Electrotechnical engineering.
  • Approximately 10 years of professional experience, ideally in rotating machines, electric propulsion, or high power applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in team and project management.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and participating in technical meetings).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage conflict and lead teams toward constructive solutions.
  • Structured and organized approach with a strong sense of practical application.
