About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop power converters (DC/DC, inverters, chargers, etc.)
- Perform modeling, simulation, and sizing of electronic components
- Participate in technical choices and optimization of electronic architectures
- Define and execute test plans (HIL, validation benches, real-world testing)
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, embedded systems, and quality teams
Requirements
- Engineering degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Initial experience (internship, apprenticeship, or job) in power system design, ideally in the automotive sector
- Knowledge of energy conversion topologies and power semiconductors (IGBT, MOSFET, SiC, GaN)
- Proficiency in simulation tools (PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice or equivalent)
- Strong skills in analog and digital electronics
- Very good command of English
