Power Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power converters (DC/DC, inverters, chargers, etc.)
• Perform modeling, simulation, and sizing of electronic components
• Participate in technical choices and optimization of electronic architectures
• Define and execute test plans (HIL, validation benches, real-world testing)
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, embedded systems, and quality teams

Requirements

• Engineering degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent
• Initial experience (internship, apprenticeship, or job) in power system design, ideally in the automotive sector
• Knowledge of energy conversion topologies and power semiconductors (IGBT, MOSFET, SiC, GaN)
• Proficiency in simulation tools (PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice or equivalent)
• Strong skills in analog and digital electronics
• Very good command of English

• Experience specifically within the automotive industry
