Power BI + PowerShell Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually compelling dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate data integration processes, report generation, and Power BI administrative tasks
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver customized solutions
• Optimize Power BI data models and datasets for performance, accuracy, and scalability
• Use PowerShell to manage workspaces, refresh datasets, and handle permissions
• Develop reusable scripts and templates for automating repetitive tasks
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and PowerShell scripting
• Strong proficiency in complex Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and DAX calculations
• Solid experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and data processing
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Experience integrating Power BI with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, and other databases
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Power BI Service and Power BI Premium administration
• Experience with other BI or automation tools like Tableau or SSIS
• Knowledge of data security and governance best practices
• Experience with Azure or cloud-based data solutions
