Power BI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and mock-ups to answer key business questions
• Align on KPIs, data sources, and visuals to enable speed to insight
• Work closely with IT teams to perform data extraction and transformation processes
• Scale, maintain, and improve existing BI solutions and migrate them to production environments
• Perform data transformations to ensure scalability across different geographies and categories
• Prepare holistic technical and process documentation to enable seamless knowledge transfer
• Support and consult the production team during the transition and maintenance phases

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Analytics and Visualizations
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel
• Strong experience with DAX, MQuery, and Paginated Reports
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse
• Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate
• Proven ability in designing and implementing data models and data integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying Power BI service to mid-market or enterprise-scale organizations
• Familiarity with DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, and optimization techniques
• Experience with other BI tools like Tableau
• Knowledge of Dataverse, Power Virtual Agent, and Model Driven Apps
